About Us

Jokerst Paving was started in 1972 by 3 hard working brothers that were experts in the paving business.  Norbert Jokerst and his brothers Eugene and Ed Jokerst worked out of the Festus location.  They founded the business on quality craftmanship, integrity and hard work.  That reputation of quality is the cornerstone of our success.   Sadly, we lost Norbert & Eugene Jokerst, but their legacy of quality, integrity and hard work remains.  Ed continues to outwork the newer employees like he did 50 years ago.  He is a relentless worker and a true master at his craft.

After the sudden loss of Norbert Jokerst, Norbert's kids Grant Jokerst & Nicole Krodinger decided to carry on the family business. Grant is a Professional Engineer registered in the state of Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri - Rolla (currently Missouri S&T) with a MS in Civil Engineering. Grant is also a Master Drainlayer in St. Louis County and is licensed in the state of Missouri to install Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems. Nicole went to work at Jokerst Paving after College. Nicole works in Human Resources and Sales. Jarod Jokerst, Ed's son, is pivotal in our operations and scheduling.

We take pride in working in our community to maintain and improve our local infrastructure. We can provide complete site work projects from parking lots to streetscape projects and small bridges to running tracks & pickleball courts. We specialize in base work and paving under athletic surfaces.
